Any woman professional, executive, or specialist who has achieved outstanding results in her field is eligible. There is no minimum seniority level — what matters is the impact, quality, and significance of your achievements relative to your context and career stage.
Companies, startups, non-profits, and other organizations founded by or led by women are eligible to apply. The organization must demonstrate measurable excellence, positive impact, and strong leadership in its sector. Both for-profit and social enterprises are welcome.
All award categories are open to nominations from all 50+ covered countries. Nominations from the UAE, UK, USA, Singapore, Australia, and all other eligible countries are warmly welcomed across every category.
Nominees should be actively working in their field during the 2024–2026 period. Achievements and impact from this period will form the primary basis for evaluation, though career trajectory and historical track record are also considered in the judging process.
Selecting the most appropriate category is crucial to a successful nomination. Here is how to identify your best fit.
With 12+ award categories available, choosing the right one can feel overwhelming. The most important principle is alignment — your nomination should feel naturally at home in the category you select, with your key achievements and contributions directly reflecting the category's core focus area.
Start with your primary role: Are you primarily an entrepreneur, an executive, a scientist, a professional, or a mentor? Your primary professional identity is usually the best starting point for category selection. If you are an entrepreneur, the Women Entrepreneur Awards or Women Startup Awards are likely your best home. If you lead an organization as CEO or C-suite executive, consider the Women Leadership Awards or Women CEO Awards.
Consider your most significant achievement: What is the one accomplishment you are most proud of? If it is a breakthrough innovation or patented technology, the Women Innovation Awards or Women in STEM Awards would be most appropriate. If it is about changing your organization's culture or industry practices, the Women Changemaker Awards may be your strongest category.
Think about your impact area: Is your greatest impact internal to your organization, or does it extend to your industry or society? Organizational impact maps well to Women in Business Awards, while broader societal impact aligns with Women Changemaker Awards. Industry-transforming impact through technology is best recognized through Women in Technology Awards.
Remember, you can apply for more than one category if your achievements genuinely qualify across multiple dimensions. Our nomination guide provides category-specific tips and examples to help you craft the strongest possible application.
No matter which industry you lead, which challenge you have conquered, or which barrier you have broken, there is a Golden Women Awards category designed specifically for women like you. Our comprehensive women award categories framework ensures that no form of excellence goes unrecognized.

Yes, you can apply for multiple award categories if you believe your achievements qualify in more than one area. Each category nomination is evaluated independently. However, we recommend focusing your strongest nomination on the category that best reflects your primary area of excellence to maximize your chances of recognition. Our nomination guide can help you decide.
Choose the category that most closely aligns with your primary professional identity and your most significant achievements.
